Bear Crazy

Hugglets is nearly here and I am going bear Crazy just in case I do get a table come up.
I have been making as much as life allows ;-D
Why not pop over to my other blog and have a look.
It has been harder to do what I had intended with this blog and I have not gotten far, Bows head in shame, exits stage right........
Nah not really But I am not able right now to put in the time.
I will try harder 100 times on the board please, says my inner teacher.

Welcome :-) my party piece is a story of new beginnings.


It was a bright winter afternoon and the toys were excitedly chatting
in the kitchen.
"She's on her way, I heard Mummy say it won't be long " said Seville.
Seville is a marmalade cat and slightly mad, so the toys were not taking him seriously.

Grizzly bear decided it was too important to ignore Seville, "Go and tell all the toys if you really heard it, tell them we are expecting a new arrival".

"Gotcha Guvna" said Seville and off he went to spread the news.

The toys on the window sill were chattering excitedly as Seville left them to tell the bigger toys on the other side of the room.

"Most auspicious news" said the wise oriental puppet.

"We will certainly be watching to see who it is" said Bob the forever friend (a most loyal friend he is too)

Seville skipped into the living room to tell the toys there and although they do watch a lot of TV they all said they would be keen to see who was going to arrive.

"You can rely on me to give a fine fanfare to our new arrival" said Tommy. He is a little vain with his bright Red uniform but still a nice toy to know.

By the next morning all the toys knew that there was going to be a new toy to make friends with.

You could feel the buzz in the air.

Soon there was a ring on the doorbell.

Wanda opened the door and gushed "Hi come on in we have been waiting to meet you".

"Come on in we won't bite you " she encouraged .

Wanda started to introduce the toys to the new doll,
What is your name Young lady ?, our Wanda has forgotten to ask", Grizzly politely enquired.

"My name is Juliette, Mummy says I look like her and as I am a from Papillon Bleu it must be the French spelling.

They sat down to tea with some scrummy cake juliette had brought "MMMM French Pattisserie" mumbled Seville with his mouth full.

And promptly got told off by Wanda for talking with his mouth full (she does like to play Mother).

He was quite embarrased in front of Juliet and hid his face in his hand.

Just then a lot of the smaller toys turned up to meet Juliette and Seville was saved from being the center of attention while everyone crowded round to see her.

When most of the toys had gone Seville gave Juliet a big hug and a kiss saying "I am sorry to have been rude on your first day here Juliet and as it is French tradition I will kiss you".

"You are Cheeky seville but I like you and I forgive you" laughed Juliette.

"I think our lovely new friend must be tired Seville, it is getting late and she has travelled too"
said Grizzly. All the other toys and Juliette agreed.

Juliette lay in her new bed and thought of all her new friends and how nice they were "This is a nice new beginning" she said to her self.

And soon she was asleep.

An apology

I am sorry this blog has been neglected of late.
I had serious problems with the keyboard on my laptop,which is now my old laptop :-D I am typing this on a shiny new one, don't you just love shiny new things? I also miss my old one, I get attached to things :-} and this new one is running on windows seven so I have to get used to that.
So far it seems ok except it has made my printer obsolete :-{
While I was unable to blog I made use of the time by doing some small and large jobs around the house that had been on the "Do when I have time and energy" list for some time. My bedroom has been completely redocorated, I even hung wallpaper! and I plan to work my way round the flat untill all is fresh and new.
I promise my next post will be a beary one, bye for now :-)
